Quetta Picnic Points Closed Amid Security Concerns

QUETTA: The district administration of Quetta has temporarily closed various picnic points across the city to the general public and tourists due to the prevailing security situation.

According to Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, this temporary restriction has been imposed to maintain law and order. Under this ban, public access has been completely restricted to several popular recreational spots, including Hanna Urak, Hanna Lake, Sara Khula, Karkhasa, Chilton National Park, and Shaban.

The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned Station House Officers (SHOs) and administrative officers to ensure strict implementation of the order and to turn back any individuals arriving at these locations for recreational purposes.

The district administration has appealed to citizens to adhere to the government directives in light of the current situation and cooperate fully with the authorities.
