QUETTA: The Balochistan’s government has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the terrorist incident near Chaman Gate, strongly condemning the targeting of innocent civilians in the attack.

In this regard, the provincial authorities described the incident as a cowardly act aimed at disturbing peace and stability in the region.

So far, the Aide to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Shahid Rind said that the loss of precious human lives in the explosion was deeply tragic and heartbreaking. He stated that terrorists involved in attacks against innocent citizens deserved no leniency and would be brought to justice.

Shahid Rind further said that Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti was personally monitoring the situation and had directed all relevant departments to ensure immediate response measures following the blast.

According to provincial authorities, a medical emergency has been declared in hospitals across Quetta after the explosion. All doctors, paramedical staff, and emergency medical teams have been called to duty on an urgent basis to deal with the situation and provide timely treatment to the injured.

The Balochistan government confirmed that a formal investigation had been launched and vowed that those responsible for the terrorist act would not escape the law. Authorities emphasized that all available resources were being utilized to identify and apprehend the perpetrators involved in the incident.

The tragic event has once again raised concerns regarding security challenges in the border region, with government officials reaffirming their commitment to maintaining law and order and protecting the lives of citizens.

Provincial leaders also appealed to the public to remain calm and cooperate with law enforcement agencies during the ongoing investigation and emergency response efforts.
