KARACHI: Bangladesh’s Deputy High Commissioner Saqib Sadaqat said bilateral trade between Pakistan and Bangladesh has increased by 20% in recent months, pushing the total volume to $1 billion.
He made the remarks at an event hosted by the Karachi Council on Foreign Relations.
He said both countries are witnessing new trade opportunities due to improved air and maritime connectivity.
He added that direct flights and shipping links have boosted commercial activity and expanded business prospects.
