ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Secretariat has formally denied inviting public applications for its 2026 internship programs through any online portal or third-party platform, cautioning citizens against misleading and fraudulent advertisements circulating on the internet.
One of the spokespersons for the National Assembly clarified that the Secretariat has taken notice of unauthorized job postings and links being shared across various job portals and social media platforms.
These advertisements falsely claim to offer internship opportunities within the National Assembly and request applications from the general public.
The spokesperson focused on that such information is inaccurate and does not indicates the official policy or procedures of the National Assembly Secretariat. “These advertisements are misleading and have no connection with the Secretariat’s approved internship framework,” the statement said.
The process for the Summer 2026 internship program is currently underway through a structured institutional mechanism. In this system, nominations of students are being obtained directly from selected universities, as per the framework approved by the National Assembly.
The Secretariat urged the public, particularly students, to exercise caution and avoid sharing personal information or submitting applications through any unauthorized platforms or suspicious links.
It mentioned the importance of verifying information through official and credible channels before taking any action.
The statement further noted that all official announcements regarding internship programs or other opportunities within the National Assembly will be made exclusively through authorized and formal sources.
