Turbat / Sui / Bolan: A wave of violence struck multiple districts of Balochistan, marked by a deadly rocket and gun attack on a residential compound, targeted vehicle shootings, bank looting, and an assault on a police station.
In the Alandur area of Buleda, Turbat, unidentified armed assailants launched a devastating rocket and firearms assault on a civilian home belonging to Rehmat, son of Rafi.
The hours-long siege, lasting from late night until early morning, left two individuals dead—identified as Sardar Yahya from Prom, Panjgur, and Aisha, daughter of Lal Mohammad—while two others sustained injuries.
Addressing a press conference at the Turbat Press Club, the grieving mother of Rehmat revealed that the attackers completely destroyed the home, burnt vehicles to ashes, and abducted her 12-year-old grandson, Brahmdagh.
She stated that her family has faced repeated targeting, noting that another son, Hairbiar, was killed two months prior, and passionately appealed for the safe release of the innocent minor.
Concurrently, in the Sui area, a civilian identified as Sher Hopo Bugti, hailing from Pir Koh, was killed when armed individuals opened fire on his vehicle near Doli on Sui Road.
In a separate incident in Dareji, armed suspects looted a local bank before fleeing, triggering a heavy exchange of fire near the police station and creating high tension as law enforcement reinforcements rushed to the scene.
Meanwhile, in Bolan, militants targeted the Khajuri (Khattan) police station with an explosive device, blowing up the building and reducing the structure to rubble.
Local authorities have cordoned off the affected areas and initiated comprehensive investigations into the coordinated string of violent incidents.
Killings and Subversion by Militants in Balochistan
The recent spate of rocket attacks, targeted assassinations, bank heists, and structural bombings across Turbat, Sui, and Bolan underscores the persistent threat posed by militant factions in Balochistan.
Subversive groups continue to employ ruthless tactics, including assaults on civilians, the abduction of minors, and direct attacks on law enforcement infrastructure, to terrorize local populations and disrupt regional order.
These violent actions severely undermine social stability and community security.
