QUETTA: In a major breakthrough against anti-state elements, security forces successfully executed an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dasht area near Dagari Cross, resulting in the elimination of four hardened terrorists belonging to the Fitna al-Hawarej (FAH) network and the arrest of 17 suspected facilitators.
According to security sources, the targeted raid was launched following credible intelligence regarding militant movements and safe havens in the region.
During the intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were neutralized on the spot. Concurrently, security personnel apprehended 17 individuals allegedly involved in facilitating, sheltering, and financing the terrorist network.
In addition to neutralizing key operatives, forces thoroughly cleared the area, destroying multiple hideouts and substantial caches of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials.
