LAHORE: The second Eliminator of the Pakistan Super League Season 11 will be played today between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Islamabad United, officials said.
A place in the final will be decided through the match.
Peshawar Zalmi has already qualified for the final. It has reached the PSL final for the fifth time, the most by any team.
Islamabad United has won the title three times. Hyderabad Kingsmen is participating in the league for the first time.
A training session was held by Islamabad United at the LCCA Ground ahead of the match.
Players of Hyderabad Kingsmen opted for rest instead of training, team sources said.
The team has been described as a fan favorite after an impressive campaign in its debut season.
A strong comeback was made by Hyderabad Kingsmen after losing its first four matches. A series of consecutive wins secured a playoff spot.
Qualification was confirmed after a dramatic win in the final league match, aided by a superior net run rate.
The PSL final is scheduled to be played on May 3, where the winner of this match will face Peshawar Zalmi.
