KECH : The Kech Traffic Police introduced a new official uniform on Saturday during a ceremony presided over by Superintendent of Police (SP) Kech, Captain (Retd) Zohaib Mohsin, marking a significant step toward reinforcing professionalism, improving public engagement, and promoting a modern traffic management system.
The unveiling ceremony drew a diverse gathering, including members of the traders’ community, representatives of the bar association, civil society activists, local elders, and citizens from various segments of society.
Addressing the audience, SP Captain (Retd) Zohaib Mohsin emphasized that the newly introduced uniform was not merely a change in attire but reflected the department’s unwavering commitment to building a disciplined, efficient, and citizen-focused traffic policing system.
He further stated that the district police were introducing practical reforms aimed at making traffic regulation more organized, enhancing road safety, and ensuring smoother vehicle movement across the district. These initiatives, he added, are specifically designed to strengthen traffic discipline while providing commuters with a safer and more convenient travel environment.
The SP also noted that improving the quality of public service remains a key priority of the police, and efforts are ongoing to adopt modern practices that enhance both operational efficiency and public confidence.
Participants at the ceremony widely appreciated the initiative, describing the new uniform as a positive step toward projecting a more professional image of the Traffic Police. They expressed confidence that the measure would contribute to better traffic management, greater public trust, and improved service delivery throughout the district.
