NEW DELHI: An active-duty Wing Commander of the Indian Air Force has been arrested by Delhi Police on charges of leaking sensitive defense information.
According to Indian media reports, the 44-year-old officer was taken into custody on May 30 for allegedly sharing classified defense data by installing data-theft software on his social media friend’s mobile phone.
While his identity has not been publicly disclosed, the accused is currently being held in Tihar Jail under judicial custody as investigations continue.
