Operation Ghazab Lil Haq: Another Afghan post destroyed in Angor Adda

WEB DESK: Pakistani security forces continue to inflict heavy losses on Afghan Taliban positions along the border, with the latest updates confirming the destruction of another enemy post and the retreat of Taliban fighters from frontline areas.

According to the latest operational update for Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, received at 0500 hours on February 27, 2026, Pakistani forces are maintaining intense pressure on Afghan Taliban army positions in response to unprovoked aggression.

Security sources confirmed that Pakistani security forces destroyed another Afghan post in the Angor Adda area along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Following the effective counter-attack, Taliban fighters were seen fleeing from their frontline positions in Angor Adda, leaving behind military assets.

“Security forces in the border area are effectively targeting Afghan Taliban army positions,” security sources stated, confirming that operations continue with full intensity.

The update emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are actively engaged in delivering a “strong response” against what Islamabad describes as unprovoked aggression from the Afghan side.

The Angor Adda border crossing has been a flashpoint in the ongoing operation, with this being the latest in a series of successful strikes against Taliban posts in the area. Earlier updates confirmed the destruction of 27 Taliban posts and the capture of 9 others across multiple sectors.

“Pakistan’s armed forces are busy giving a strong response against the unprovoked aggression,” security sources added, signaling that no let-up is expected in the military pressure being applied along the border.

The ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil Haq has now expanded to multiple Afghan provinces, including Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia, with Pakistani officials vowing to continue counter-attacks until cross-border aggression ceases.
