HARI PUR: At least seven people were killed and ten others injured after a gas pipeline explosion triggered a massive fire in the Hattar Industrial Area of Haripur on Thursday.
According to the District Police Officer (DPO), the explosion led to a rapidly spreading blaze.
The victims include women and children, raising serious concerns about residential quarters located near the industrial zone.
Rescue teams promptly shifted the injured to nearby hospitals, where several are said to be in critical condition.
Firefighting efforts are still underway to bring the blaze under control.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the explosion and possible safety violations.
