Hyderabad, India: A brutal case of greed has emerged from Telangana, India, where a man allegedly murdered four members of his own family after learning killing techniques from online videos.
According to the Indian media, the gruesome crime came to light on June 22 when neighbors complained of a foul odor emanating from a house.
The police identified the prime suspect as Aslam, a car driver residing in Hyderabad, who was facing severe financial distress due to a lavish lifestyle and mounting debts.
Investigation revealed that Aslam had previously borrowed 100,000 INR from his wife’s aunt, Haseena.
When he recently approached her for another loan to buy a new car, Haseena refused and demanded the repayment of her previous money instead.
Meanwhile, Aslam’s wife, Tabassum, held a personal grudge against her aunt and suggested that her husband rob Haseena’s house.
Driven by financial desperation and personal enmity, Aslam began watching online videos to plan the crime.
On the morning of June 19, Aslam entered Haseena’s house and fatally stabbed her.
He then attacked and killed her husband and their two children.
After committing the murders, he fled with gold jewelry, property deeds, and bank documents.
With the help of a friend, Aslam pawned the stolen valuables to a jeweler in Hyderabad for 530,000 INR.
The police have arrested Aslam, his wife Ta
bassum, his accomplice friend, and the jeweler involved in the transaction.
