SARAWAN: Security forces successfully neutralized three terrorists and recovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition during an intense operational engagement in the Sarawan area today.
The encounter began at approximately 1435 hours when security personnel spotted three to four terrorists riding on two motorcycles roughly 300 meters northeast of Killi Sarawan.
A Special Operations Task Force (SOTF) unit, led by Captain Saqib, was actively establishing a tactical blockade in the sector when they intercepted the suspicious movement.
The task force immediately engaged the moving targets.
In an attempt to evade capture, the terrorists fled further toward the northeast, prompting the security forces to launch an immediate tactical pursuit.
During the ensuing firefight, three terrorists were successfully neutralized by the forces.
Following the clearance operation, security forces recovered two motorcycles used by the perpetrators, along with a dangerous cache of military hardware including three submachine guns (SMGs), six RPG rounds, two STOS detonation devices, a battery, and 300 feet of wire.

At approximately 2:35 PM near Killi Sarawan, a Special Operations team intercepted three to four suspected terrorists traveling on motorcycles.
The team immediately initiated a pursuit, and following an exchange of fire, three terrorists were neutralized.
Authorities recovered weapons, RPG ammunition, motorcycles, electrical equipment, and wiring from the scene, suggesting that the group was preparing for an armed assault or the fabrication and deployment of explosive devices.
