QUETTA: A long-standing land dispute escalated into a deadly armed clash in the border town of Chaman, Balochistan, leaving two people dead and four others severely injured.
The incident occurred in the Gulistan area, where two families involved in a persistent property feud confronted each other on Thursday.
The altercation quickly turned violent when members of one group opened indiscriminate fire on the other.
Two individuals died on the spot from their injuries, while four others sustained critical wounds.
Local police shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital and launched a formal investigation into the incident.
