QUETTA: A brutal mass murder has taken place in the Sariab Link Badnini area of Quetta, where a man shot and killed five of his own relatives.
According to the police, the horrific incident was driven by an old enmity. The suspect forcibly entered the house and opened fire, killing his brother-in-law, three nephews, and a niece.
Sources revealed that the victimized family had previously filed complaints against the suspect with both the regular police and the Serious Crime Wing, but no timely action was taken.
The assailant managed to flee the scene after the attack.
In protest, grieving relatives placed the bodies of the victims on Sariab Link Badnini Road, blocking traffic and demanding the immediate arrest of the killer.
The protesters revealed that the suspect is a repeat offender who had already murdered two other members of the same family in the Sariab area previously.
They expressed deep frustration with law enforcement, lamenting that a killer of seven people is still roaming free while the police fail to take effective action.
