CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir Visits Quetta Garrison, Vows to Defeat Conspiracies

QUETTA: Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison on Tuesday, where he addressed officers and instructors at the Command and Staff College.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal praised the high training standards, intellectual development and professional competence at the institution. He said graduating officers had consistently demonstrated excellence and a strong sense of duty.

Munir highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare. He stressed the importance of emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, inter-service coordination, and readiness for future battlefield challenges. He said officers and soldiers must receive continuous training to effectively respond to evolving threats.

Later, he met officers and soldiers deployed in Balochistan. He said the armed forces, with strong public support, remained committed to eliminating terrorism in all its forms.

Munir said Pakistan’s development journey could not be stopped by false propaganda, fake news or externally sponsored terrorism. He said national unity would defeat all conspiracies against the country.

He emphasized the importance of lasting peace and stability in Balochistan. He said sustainable development depended on public welfare, inclusive growth and improved governance.

He also appreciated the efforts of the Balochistan government for public welfare and socio-economic development initiatives.

The Field Marshal praised the morale, operational readiness and professional commitment of troops stationed in the province.

On arrival in Quetta, Quetta Garrison Commander received the Field Marshal.
