ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Shafqat Ali Khan, in Islamabad during the Regional Ambassadors Conference, the Foreign Office spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on expanding cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE across multiple sectors and strengthening bilateral relations.
Dar stressed the need to further enhance close ties between the two countries. He said both sides should explore new opportunities in trade, investment and people-to-people contacts.
He also praised the positive role of the Pakistani community in the UAE. He directed officials to further improve facilities for the welfare of overseas Pakistanis.
Dar emphasized the importance of promoting stronger links between the peoples of both countries.

During the meeting, both sides discussed longstanding fraternal relations and various aspects of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE.
