QUETTA: The Adviser to the Balochistan Chief Minister Meena Majeed has strongly condemned the killing of a mother and her daughter in Noshki, by Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists, saying no one would be allowed to disrupt peace in the province.
She said that Majeed described the targeting of Baloch women as highly condemnable and said the killing of civilians, particularly women, was an unacceptable act of violence.
She said terrorists were increasingly targeting ordinary citizens and women in an attempt to create fear and instability in Balochistan.
She maintained that the provincial government and state institutions would not allow elements seeking to undermine peace to achieve their objectives.
The Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists entered a house and targeted the women, describing the incident as a serious and condemnable act.
She said such attacks demonstrated the brutality of elements operating against peace and stability in the province.
In this sense, Majeed alleged that terrorists were hiding in mountainous areas and carrying out attacks against civilians from there.
She also accused certain elements of promoting anti-state propaganda for their personal interests, saying such activities could not be allowed to undermine public confidence or disturb the province’s peace.
She expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and condemned violence against innocent civilians. The adviser said the government remained committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and would continue efforts to establish lasting peace across Balochistan.
“Balochistan will not be allowed to become a target of violence and instability,” she said, adding that the province’s peace-loving people and state institutions would defeat those seeking to disrupt peace.
The incident comes amid continuing security challenges in parts of Balochistan, where armed groups have carried out attacks targeting civilians and security personnel. Authorities have repeatedly stressed the need for coordinated efforts to counter militancy and protect vulnerable communities.
Majeed said attacks on women and other civilians were contrary to the values of society and deserved condemnation at every level.
