KARACHI: Large rallies were held at the Dow University of Health Sciences OJHA Campus and Dow Medical College to mark one year since the success of “Marka-e-Haq” and Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, with participants expressing solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces.
The main rally at the OJHA Campus was led by Vice Chancellor Nazli Hussain and attended by teachers, doctors, students, paramedical staff and other university employees.
Participants carried national flags and placards bearing slogans in support of the armed forces, while chants of “Long live Pakistan Army” and “Pakistan Zindabad” echoed throughout the event.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Nazli Hussain described the success of Marka-e-Haq as a “golden chapter” in Pakistan’s history, saying it had further strengthened the country’s defence capabilities.
She said the nation and educational institutions stood firmly alongside the armed forces and deeply valued their sacrifices for the country.
Special prayers were offered at the conclusion of the rallies for Pakistan’s security, stability, and economic and social progress.
