QUETTA: An explosion occurred in the Wali Tangi area near Hanna Urak in Quetta, resulting in the death of two individuals and leaving four others injured.
The wounded have been shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Following the incident, a heavy contingent of police rushed to the site.
According to police, the exact nature of the blast is yet to be determined, and the Bomb Disposal Squad has been summoned to the scene.

Despite these continuous efforts by law enforcement and military forces, sporadic incidents—ranging from attacks on security convoys and public transport to explosions in remote and semi-urban areas—continue to pose serious threats to peace and development in the province.
