PESHAWAR: One body has been recovered from the Indus River at Hund in Swabi district, while search operations continue for a father, his two sons, and another young man.
According to rescue authorities, five individuals visiting the river to celebrate Independence Day were swept away by swift currents while bathing.
On Saturday, Rescue 1122 divers recovered the body of 14-year-old sixth-grade student Mishal, a resident of Darbo Baba Yar Hussian, following an operation that began yesterday evening.
Search efforts remain underway for the remaining four victims: 26-year-old Awais from Charsadda, 45-year-old Shakeel, and his two teenage sons, 20-year-old Sharjeel and 16-year-old Khazar, all from Mardan.
