QUETTA: In a tragic incident on Tuesday evening, two innocent civilian children lost their lives after unidentified miscreants, identified as members of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), targeted an area near a religious seminary in Quetta.
According to initial reports, the attackers lobbed a hand grenade near the Imdadia Madrassa located in the Saryab Mill area at approximately 8:00 PM.
The explosion resulted in the immediate martyrdom of two children who were present in the vicinity.
Following the attack, a swift response was initiated by the security apparatus. Counter-Terrorism (CT) teams alongside contingents of the Police rushed to the site to secure the perimeter.
Security forces have cordoned off the locality and are scanning the surveillance grid to trace the escape routes of the perpetrators.
