ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Board of Investment (BBOIT) Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar met with Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad to deliberate on strategic measures for promoting investment, facilitating business operations, and creating a conducive environment for investors in Balochistan.
The meeting, which featured a detailed exchange of views, saw Vice Chairman Kakar apprising the Federal Minister of the various steps undertaken by the Board to streamline business facilitation, strengthen investor support mechanisms, ensure investment protection, and foster a secure and enabling climate for both local and international investors.
Federal Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif appreciated the proactive efforts of the BBOIT in promoting investment and extending facilities to the business community in Balochistan. He assured the provincial government of full cooperation from the federal government in advancing investment projects across the province and further solidifying investor trust.
“New avenues of development and prosperity can be established by promoting foreign investment in Balochistan,” remarked Minister Asif. He reiterated that the federal government is making concerted efforts to bring Balochistan at par with other provinces in the realm of development and economic progress.
In response, Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar expressed gratitude to the Federal Minister for his assurances and positive outlook. He emphasized that effective communication and mutual cooperation between the federal and provincial governments are pivotal to removing bottlenecks to investment, promoting robust business activities, and unlocking the vast economic potential that Balochistan holds.
The BBOIT remains steadfast in its ongoing efforts to stimulate investment in Balochistan, enhance business ease, and establish a more resilient and reliable system for the investment community, the Vice Chairman concluded.
