Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti stated that the province is entering a new era of digital governance, transparency, and innovation.
In his message on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, he highlighted that the Balochistan government has introduced the province’s first-ever Digital Media Policy 2026 to promote a modern communication framework.
The Chief Minister emphasized that integrating an Artificial Intelligence-based recruitment system has significantly boosted merit, transparency, and good governance across the province.
He added that the implementation of IT parks, youth IT initiatives, and e-governance reforms is currently underway.
Furthermore, projects like bus fleet digitalization and climate-tech solutions are steering Balochistan toward modernization.
According to Bugti, providing scholarships and digital skills training programs remains a top priority, ensuring that youth receive equal advancement opportunities and modern facilities to align the province with future global standards.
