Balochistan Govt Reviews Head Money Policy to Nab Terrorists

QUETTA : Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove chaired a high-level meeting in Quetta on Tuesday to review the province’s security situation and assess the effectiveness of the recently introduced head money policy for the arrest of high-value terrorists and criminal elements.

 

The meeting deliberated at length on the implementation of the policy, with participants exchanging various proposals to ensure its effective enforcement.

 

Provincial Education Minister Raheela Durrani, DIG Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Aitzaz Goraya, and senior officials of the Home Department attended the session. Officials briefed the attendees on the progress achieved under the policy and outlined the future course of action.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Langove reaffirmed that restoring peace and law and order remains the government’s top priority, and all available resources are being mobilized to achieve this objective. He directed the authorities to ensure strict implementation of government decisions to safeguard the lives and property of the people.
