The 9th-ranked Test team pulled off a major upset against the world’s top-ranked side, successfully chasing down a target of 57 runs with one wicket down.
Shadman Islam (25*) and Mominul Haque (30*) remained unbeaten to guide their team home.
Australia scored 198 in their first innings and 284 in their second, while Bangladesh posted 426 in their first innings before comfortably securing the win in the second.
