QUETTA: Muhammad Ali Achakzai, a prominent political figure, focused on the longstanding labor exchange between Punjab and Balochistan, mentioning the mutual movement of workers between the two provinces.
Achakzai further stated that while people from Punjab come to Balochistan for work and vice versa, Punjab has never sent “bodies” back to Balochistan, implicitly addressing accusations of violence or conflict.
On the other hand, the BLA, officially declared a terrorist group by Pakistan, the United Nations, and other global bodies, is responsible for multiple acts of terrorism. These include kidnappings, killings of civilians and security personnel, destruction of infrastructure, and attempts to destabilize the region.
Despite these challenges, Balochistan continues to witness gradual improvement through development projects, increased educational initiatives, and growing national and international investment. People from all parts of Pakistan, including Punjab, work together to build a better Balochistan.
Meanwhile, experts focus on that divisive statements only serve the interests of extremist groups.
