ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that India itself is responsible for the Pahalgam attack, and without any evidence accusing Pakistan for the incident.
Giving an interview to the international broadcasting organization “CNN”, Tarar said that India does not have any evidence of Pakistan’s involvement, only playing the blame game to hide its failure as they did it earlier several times in the past.
Information minister said that we had authentic intelligence that India would attack Pakistan, being a responsible state and a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, it is our duty to share this information with the international community.
“Pakistan Army knows how to defend the beloved homeland, the people of Pakistan are determined and united for their homeland” Tarar said.
He added that Pakistan is a peaceful country and has always wanted peaceful coexistence but if anyone try to impose war on us, we have to right to defend ourselves and give befitting reply to those elements.
Minister further added that Pakistan have offered a fair and transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident, however, India continued to point fingers, in the past also they have placed allegations of such incidents on Pakistan without investigation.
Indian government failed to identify any single group involved in this incident, India will have to tell the world who is involved in it, it cannot just be accused that Pakistan is behind it, Tarar said.
He said that Pakistan remained calm in this situation and also offered a fair and impartial investigation into this incident, Pakistan is presenting its point of view in communication with its friendly countries.

Pakistan is peaceful country but we will not tolerate any kind of aggression from the other country, adding that Pakistan has the right to defend itself and we will defend our country, he said.
He added that Pakistan’s armed forces are alert and ready to confront any aggression.
