PESHAWAR: A successful CTD operation in Peshawar’s Budh Bher area resulted in the elimination of four militant outlaws following an assault on the local police station.
The brazen attack by an extremist faction left two police personnel, including the Station House Officer (SHO), wounded, prompting an immediate and decisive CTD operation to cordon off the region and neutralize the threat.
During the fierce exchange of fire that defined the CTD operation, four terrorists were killed, with identification documents recovered confirming one of the slain militants to be an Afghan national.
Law enforcement agencies also recovered a cache of lethal hardware, including three motorcycles, hand grenades, sub-machine guns, and improvised explosive devices, marking a significant victory for local security forces through this targeted CTD operation.
