QUETTA : Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistani nation and the people of Balochistan on the occasion of Independence Day, paying rich tribute to the sacrifices of forefathers who made the creation of Pakistan possible.
In a comprehensive message, the Chief Minister emphasized that independence is the fruit of immense sacrifices, with elders having laid down their lives to achieve a sovereign homeland. He credited the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for transforming the dream of an independent state into reality, adding that Independence Day is being celebrated across Balochistan with national enthusiasm and fervor.
CM Bugti remarked that every child in Balochistan looks upon the sacrifices of the country’s great martyrs with profound respect and dignity. He assured the families of martyrs that the nation would never forget their monumental contributions, stating, “The sacred blood of the martyrs is highly respected by us; their sacrifices are our capital.”
Turning his attention to the youth, the Chief Minister stressed that their future lies in education and emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence. He urged young people to align themselves with modern sciences and play an active role in Pakistan’s development. “The youth of Balochistan are very close to my heart,” he said, adding that his government is taking practical steps to secure their bright future through new schemes, reforms, and a merit-based recruitment system that will boost their confidence in the state.
CM Bugti also issued a strong warning against terrorist elements attempting to mislead the youth through propaganda. “Terrorist elements are trying to keep the youth away from the state through misleading propaganda,” he said, urging young people to resist such narratives and contribute to the country’s progress rather than becoming part of a futile war. “Those who push Baloch youth into terrorism are destined to be defeated,” he asserted, while expressing unwavering confidence that no power in the world can stop Pakistan’s permanent victory.
The Chief Minister also extended congratulations to the President, Prime Minister, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on the recent defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. He hailed the trilateral cooperation as an important step toward regional progress and stability, stating that every step taken to increase Pakistan’s honor and dignity is deeply appreciated in Balochistan.
Concluding his message, CM Bugti expressed joy that the hearts of the people of Balochistan are filled with pride upon seeing Pakistan progressing and moving forward. He emphasized that Pakistan’s progress is intrinsically linked to the progress and prosperity of Balochistan, and called upon all citizens to share the common responsibility of keeping Pakistan stable and permanent. He concluded with a prayer: “May Allah Almighty make Pakistan and Balochistan the cradle of peace.”
