Islamabad: President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir jointly inaugurated the “Yadgar-e-Fath” (Monument of Victory).
According to state TV channel sources, a colorful ceremony was held in Islamabad on the occasion of Independence Day to celebrate the unprecedented success in the battle of truth against India, with the President, Prime Minister, Army Chief, and other prominent figures in attendance.
The leadership unveiled the monument to honor the martyrs, ghazis, and brave soldiers guarding the borders, while also symbolizing national sovereignty, unity, patriotism, and an unwavering resolve for national defense.
