LAHORE: The daughters of the late, renowned Pakistani comedian Allah Rakha Pepsi have expressed deep anger and distress, urging senior actor Sohail Ahmad not to make a spectacle of their family’s dignity on social media.
In a recent interview, Allah Rakha’s youngest daughter recalled that her father had introduced her to Sohail Ahmad during her childhood, presenting him as an uncle and a father figure.
With folded hands, she implored Ahmad and the media to stop humiliating them, protect her late father’s reputation, and let him rest in peace now that he is no longer in this world.
The controversy follows remarks made by Sohail Ahmad regarding Allah Rakha, during which he praised his acting skills and claimed that Allah Rakha had suffered a fatal heart attack on set while deeply distressed over his daughter’s divorce.
Allah Rakha Pepsi passed away on the 6th of last month after suffering a heart attack during a shoot.
