QUETTA: FC North conducts successful operations in several Balochistan areas eliminating militants and foiling explosives.
According to the security officials, Frontier Corps (FC) North has successfully executed successful military operations in Balochistan under Operation Shaban II, sanitizing 59 square kilometers of territory and neutralizing multiple threats.
Day 1 of the operation resulted in six terrorists killed, one injured, and nine suspects apprehended, alongside the destruction of a hostile hideout and the safe disposal of explosive devices.
During the synchronized maneuvers along multiple axes, security forces demonstrated tactical precision.
Along the Sirki Kach Axis, EOD teams successfully detected and neutralized improvised explosive devices. Concurrently, forces established 17 blocking positions along the LS Prong, effectively responding to distant fire from Killi Sheikhan with heavy weaponry and reporting no losses.
In the Sara K Prong sector, vigilant elements intercepted four suspected vehicles near Mangala, apprehending nine suspects and destroying a terrorist compound following the recovery of an IED.
The Zawar and Saran Tangi prongs saw intense tactical engagements, where block positions and SSG elements utilized UCAV surveillance and coordinated ambushes to eliminate five armed terrorists, successfully concluding the first phase of successful military operations in Balochistan.
