CHAGAI: A child lost his life and nine others, including members of a health department vaccination team, sustained injuries in a severe head-on collision between a vaccination vehicle and an oncoming speeding car in the Amri area of Chagai district.
The health team was en route for a routine immunization campaign when the crash occurred.
The impact caused the immediate death of a young child identified as Anas, son of Mula Bakhsh.
Local residents quickly transported the injured—Ashraf, Mohi-ud-Din, Hanif, Saeed, Shah Jan Jalal, Rabia, Pari Naz, and Totia—to Sheikh Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin.
Following initial medical stabilization, the critical patients were referred to Quetta for further specialized treatment.
