Terror Won’t Shake Pakistan’s Resolve: CM Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that no matter how many attacks terrorists carry out, they will never force the people of Balochistan to abandon Pakistan’s flag, reaffirming the province’s commitment to the country.

Addressing a ceremony marking the death anniversary of Nawabzada Siraj Raisani in Quetta, Bugti said that 11 Pakistani soldiers were martyred in Bela three days ago, while five innocent barbers were killed in a terrorist attack the following day.

He questioned whether such acts reflected Balochistan’s traditions and called on all segments of society to unite against terrorism.

The chief minister also revealed that his younger brother was injured in a terrorist attack two months ago but continues to stand against militant groups.

He praised the sacrifices of the Frontier Corps, Balochistan Police, and the Pakistan Armed Forces, saying security personnel were laying down their lives while the state continued to face unjust accusations.

Bugti paid tribute to Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, saying his sacrifice would always be remembered in Balochistan’s history.

He described Raisani as a frontline leader who stood firmly against extremism during some of the province’s most difficult times
