QUETTA: A massive joint anti-terror offensive, “Operation Shaban,” is actively being conducted by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and the local police against the Fitna al-Khawarij (militant extremists).
According to security sources, the joint forces are executing highly coordinated ground and aerial strikes targeting terrorist hideouts.
Faced with intense military pressure, the remaining terrorists have been forced to abandon their sanctuaries, leaving behind large caches of arms, ammunition, and logistical equipment.
Recent intelligence reports confirm that three more terrorists were neutralized during the latest phase of the operation, bringing the total number of militants eliminated in Operation Shaban alone to 79.
Since July 5th, broader intelligence-based operations alongside Operation Shaban have resulted in the elimination of 117 Khariji terrorists across the province.
Security officials reiterated that the operation will continue aggressively until the absolute elimination of terrorism from Balochistan.
