QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced the launch of the province’s first-ever E-Domicile and E-Local Certificate System, describing it as a major milestone in digital governance, administrative reforms, and transparent public service delivery.
Bugti said the new system will enable citizens to apply for e-domicile certificates from anywhere in Pakistan through NADRA centres, Deputy Commissioner offices, and the Pak-ID platform.
He said the digital initiative will enhance transparency, help prevent the issuance of fake domicile certificates, and provide faster, easier, and more efficient services to the public.
The chief minister added that the e-domicile system will also offer government institutions a secure, reliable, and efficient verification mechanism, improving the overall delivery of public services.
Reaffirming his government’s commitment to modernization, Bugti said the Balochistan government remains dedicated to making public services more accessible, transparent, and technology-driven.
