Wreckage of Missing Cargo Plane Recovered

KARACHI: In a major search and rescue development, the Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) have successfully located the wreckage of a private cargo aircraft that went missing while en route from Sharjah to Karachi.

According to private television channel reports, the debris of the missing plane was discovered in the sea, approximately 53 nautical miles south of the Ormara coast.

A high-stakes rescue operation remains underway to locate the five individuals who were on board the aircraft.

The cargo plane, belonging to a private company named “K2 Airways,” was bound for Karachi from Sharjah last night when it suddenly lost contact with Air Traffic Control at 9:21 PM and vanished from the radars.

Following the disappearance, the Pakistan Navy and PMSA launched a coordinated search operation that lasted over 12 hours before the wreckage was successfully detected. Authorities have now further intensified rescue efforts to find and recover the missing crew members.
