CHAGAI: Security forces detained 137 undocumented Afghan nationals, including women and children, during operations against illegal immigration and human smuggling in Balochistan, officials said on Tuesday.
The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) carried out coordinated operations in Dalbandin, Taftan, and Mashkail, intercepting multiple attempts to smuggle undocumented migrants across the border.
Officials said all 137 Afghan nationals were taken into custody during the operations.
Law enforcement authorities said the crackdown forms part of an ongoing campaign against illegal immigration and cross-border human smuggling.
They added that operations against undocumented foreign nationals will continue to strengthen border security and disrupt human trafficking networks.
