Hanna Urak Protest Ends, Road Reopened

QUETTA: The protest sit-in at Hanna Urak ended after successful negotiations between the Balochistan government and the demonstrators, leading to the reopening of the blocked road for traffic.

Speaking to the protesters, Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and Adviser to the Interior Babar Yousafzai reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens.

They said the government would continue taking decisive action against terrorist elements and stressed that public safety remains its top priority.

The officials praised the courage and resilience of the people of Hanna Urak for standing up against terrorist threats and resisting extremist elements.

They assured the protesters that their legitimate demands would be addressed without delay.

Following the successful talks, the protesters announced the end of the sit-in, restoring normal traffic flow on the highway.

The provincial government also reiterated its resolve to use all available resources to maintain law and order, safeguard citizens, and eliminate terrorism.
