ISLAMABAD : Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian departed for Tehran on Tuesday, concluding a landmark two-day official visit to Pakistan that reaffirmed the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two neighboring nations.
The distinguished guest was seen off at Noor Khan Airbase by a high-level Pakistani delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The ceremonial farewell underscored the importance Islamabad places on its relationship with Tehran.
In a gesture of goodwill and diplomatic warmth, President Peshkeshian was presented with a special commemorative album, featuring memorable photographs captured during his engagements in Pakistan.
