Qalibaf-Led Iranian Delegation Lands in Switzerland

SWITZERLAND: Iran’s negotiating delegation, dubbed “Minab 168” by Iranian media, has arrived for technical talks with the US in Switzerland. The team includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, National Security Council official Ali Bagheri, and Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati.

Upon arrival, Iranian Parliament Speaker and Chief Negotiator Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said the martyrs of Iran, including the innocent children of Minab, are watching their actions and have expectations from them. He expressed hope he would not embarrass the Iranian people or the martyrs.

The talks, mediated by Pakistan, follow the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and are set to begin Sunday in Bürgenstock. Pakistan’s Prime Minister and COAS are also present to facilitate the dialogue.
