QUETTA: Security Forces Clearance Operation in District Quetta was launched following reports regarding multiple hideouts of foreign-sponsored elements in the general area of Shaban, posing a direct threat to local citizens.
Since September 21, 2026, security forces have been conducting this extensive Security Forces Clearance Operation to safeguard the population and clear the area completely.
During intense exchanges of fire, 13 terrorists were neutralized, and significant quantities of weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from their hideouts.
In separate pre-emptive intelligence-based operations conducted on September 22 and 23, 2026, in District Kech and District Quetta West, troops engaged terrorists and successfully killed six more.
During these fierce engagements, Subedar Muhammad Jamil, a 39-year-old resident of Taunsa Sharif, District Dera Ghazi Khan, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat in the line of duty.
This counter-terrorism campaign, operating under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” will continue at full pace until the complete eradication of terrorism.
