FAISALABAD: A devastating traffic accident on the Samundri Bypass Road in Faisalabad has resulted in the tragic deaths of a man and his two sons.
According to rescue sources, the incident occurred when a speeding tractor-trolley coming from the opposite direction rammed into and crushed their motorcycle.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the father and both sons died on the spot.
The victims have been identified as residents of Yasir Town.
Upon receiving the report, local police rushed to the scene to secure the area and oversaw the shifting of the bodies to a nearby hospital.
Following the completion of necessary legal and medical formalities, the bodies will be handed over to the grieving family for burial.

Motorcyclists remain the most vulnerable demographic on Punjab’s roads, routinely suffering fatal head injuries due to a lack of helmet compliance.
Efforts by the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) and the National Highways and Motorway Police have significantly improved emergency response times and post-crash trauma care.
However, experts emphasize that curbing this deadly trend requires a fundamental shift in road safety enforcement.
This includes stricter licensing procedures, mandatory fitness checks for commercial and agricultural vehicles, improved road engineering, and robust public awareness campaigns targeting defensive driving.
