Lady Doctor Sent to Karachi Under CM’s Orders

Quetta: Suspect in Acid Attack on Female Doctor Killed in Police Shootout

QUETTA :  On the special instructions of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the lady doctor who was affected in a tragic acid attack has been shifted to Karachi for the provision of high-end and modern medical facilities.

 

The affected doctor was sent to Karachi through the People’s Air Ambulance under the supervision of expert doctors and special medical staff. In Karachi, she will receive treatment and special care under the supervision of eminent medical experts of the country. The humanitarian mission is being led by Captain Ali Azad.

 

Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that the Balochistan government is taking full responsibility for the treatment, rehabilitation, and welfare of the affected lady doctor, and all available resources are being utilized for this purpose. “Providing the best possible medical facilities to the affected woman is the top priority of the government, and no negligence will be tolerated in her treatment,” he stated.

 

The Chief Minister has directed concerned authorities to provide all possible support, convenience, and guidance while staying in constant contact with the affected family. He also stressed that the progress of the patient’s health and treatment should be monitored regularly and that the government should be kept informed.

 

Mir Sarfaraz Bugti described the acid attack incident as “very sad, inhumane, and against social values.” He made it clear that the accused involved in the incident has reached his logical end, and the Balochistan government will not compromise on the rule of law.

 

“There is no room in Balochistan for elements involved in violence, harassment, and crimes against women,” the Chief Minister asserted. He reiterated that the government is committed to defending the safety, dignity, and fundamental rights of women, and that perpetrators of such crimes will be brought to the strictest end according to the law.

 

The Chief Minister said the Balochistan government expresses complete solidarity with the affected lady doctor and her family and prays for their speedy and complete recovery. “The government will ensure that the affected family is provided with justice, protection, and all possible state assistance,” he added.
