Balochistan High Alert for Eid-ul-Adha Security

QUETTA: On the directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Provincial Interior Minister Mir Zia Langau, the Balochistan government, police, and all law enforcement agencies have been placed on high alert to ensure the safety of public life and property during Eid-ul-Adha.

Babar Yousafzai, Advisor to the Balochistan Department of Home and Tribal Affairs, stated that the Chief Minister and Interior Minister have issued clear instructions to guarantee absolute security across the province during the festive period.

“We have complete faith in our police and security agencies to maintain foolproof security arrangements throughout the Eid holidays,” Yousafzai affirmed.

Strict security protocols are being deployed at Eid congregations, mosques, imambargahs, open prayer grounds (Eidgahs), recreational parks, and other public spaces to provide a peaceful environment for citizens celebrating the occasion.

Security forces remain fully prepared to maintain law and order and respond effectively to any untoward incident.

The provincial government has also appealed to the public to cooperate closely with law enforcement agencies, display responsible citizenship, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
