Shocking drop scene in Islamabad kidnapping case, police bust a case

ISLAMABAD: The case involving the alleged kidnapping of a citizen from the federal capital and his reported movement to the “kacha” area has taken a new turn after police claimed that the entire incident was staged by the complainant himself.

The main suspect, identified as Nooruddin, along with two of his associates, allegedly fabricated kidnapping videos and circulated them on social media to create the impression that he had been abducted.

In this regard, Police sources claimed that Nooruddin had previously obtained substantial sums of money from different persons through alleged fraudulent means. Instead of returning the amounts, he is accused of staging the kidnapping drama to evade financial responsibility and potentially initiate legal cases against rival parties.

The investigation was led by SP City Ayaz and his team, who used a combination of modern investigative technology and human intelligence to trace the suspects. Police officials said the accused were located and arrested from Rahim Yar Khan during a targeted operation.

The two accomplices were also taken into custody for their alleged role in preparing and sharing the fabricated content.

The report stated that Nooruddin had been allegedly abducted from the federal capital, prompting an initial investigation into a possible kidnapping case.

However, as the inquiry progressed, inconsistencies reportedly emerged in the statements and digital evidence, leading investigators to reassess the nature of the incident.
