SIALKOT: The 106th draw of the Rs 1500 prize bond will be held in Sialkot on Friday, officials said.
The draw ceremony will begin at 8:45 am. at the banking hall of the State Bank of Pakistan. Investors, prize bond holders and members of the public are expected to attend in large numbers.
State Bank officials said all arrangements for the draw had been finalized. Authorities also introduced special measures to ensure transparency during the process.
Officials said the winning numbers would be announced through the traditional draw procedure, while the complete list of winners would be issued later.
Under the Rs 1500 prize bond scheme, one winner will receive the first prize of Rs3 million. Three winners will each receive a second prize of Rs1 million.
In the third prize category, 1,696 winners will receive Rs18,500 each.
A large number of citizens across Pakistan are awaiting the draw results, as prize bonds remain a popular savings and investment option.
Financial experts said the national prize bond scheme continued to attract investors because it offered secure savings along with the chance to win substantial cash prizes.
Officials noted that prize bond draws are held several times each year in different cities across the country.
The complete list of winning numbers will be released immediately after the draw by the State Bank of Pakistan and relevant authorities.
