SUNDDHI/GWADAR – Security forces have successfully dismantled a network of terrorists and smugglers in the Sunddhi region, located between the Dasht River and the Pak-Iran border. During a high-stakes clearance operation today, the Pakistan Coast Guard engaged a group of armed miscreants, resulting in the elimination of six terrorists and injuries to four others.
The operation was initiated following intelligence regarding the movement of narcotics and arms.
This decisive action comes just three days after a similar encounter in the area, where two Coast Guard soldiers embraced Shahadat while defending the border against an ambush by the same smuggler-terrorist nexus.
In the aftermath of the gunfight, hostile actors and specialized social media accounts linked to the BLA and Indian handles attempted to misinform the public by portraying the deceased criminals as “innocent labourers.”
Investigations confirm the individuals were active members of a smuggling economy that provides logistical and financial support to regional terrorism.
The area of Sunddhi remains under a strict security blanket as forces continue to sweep the terrain for remaining threats.
