RAWALPINDI: The top leadership of Pakistan’s armed forces has extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation and the personnel of the military on the completion of one year since the success of Marka-e-Haq (Battle of Truth), according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In a joint congratulatory message, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that this significant day, observed with national solidarity, respect, and gratitude, stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of professionalism, courage, and unity within the armed forces.
The military chiefs emphasized that the armed forces have always stood by the people of Pakistan, proudly upholding their eternal bond through a spirit of service.
The ISPR statement described Marka-e-Haq as a major milestone in the country’s history, reflecting national resolve, military expertise, and strategic maturity. The victory has not only strengthened national confidence but also highlighted Pakistan as a responsible and stable regional power.
According to the military’s media wing, Pakistan’s resolute and effective response during the battle exposed enemy conspiracies, false flag narratives, and misleading propaganda, resulting in the enemy being humiliated on a global scale. Despite facing conventional and hybrid challenges—including proxy terrorism—the armed forces demonstrated high operational capability across land, air, naval, cyber, and information domains.
Since Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan has further enhanced its defense capabilities and strengthened full-spectrum deterrence. The victory, the statement added, stands as proof of the preparedness, dedication, and professionalism of the armed forces and has decisively strengthened public confidence in them.
The first anniversary of the success confirms that Pakistan remains determined and steadfast in promoting peace and stability in the region while protecting its sovereignty.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance, the military leadership stated that lasting peace in South Asia can only be achieved through meaningful dialogue, mutual respect, and adherence to the principles of international law and justice. With the unwavering support of the nation, the armed forces remain fully prepared to meet all internal and external challenges while ensuring Pakistan’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.
